What kind of heating is available for extruding machine?
Extruder heating methods, in general, there are mainly the following kinds, for the heat carrier heating, resistance heating and electric induction heating, etc., the following are briefly introduced.
1. Heat carrier heating
It is the heat carrier as a heating medium for heating, which can be divided into liquid heating and steam heating, the former heating medium used is a temperature of less than 200 ℃ mineral oil, or organic solvents, etc., while the latter heating medium used is steam.
2. Resistance heating
It is a widely used heating method, with small size, light weight and easy to install and so on. Its main principle is to heat the barrel through the resistance wire, so as to transfer the heat to the material up, so it will be used to the resistance heater. However, in recent years and the emergence of cast aluminum heater, which is an improvement of the resistance heater, both to maintain the original advantages of the resistance heater, but also able to reduce costs, improve the heat transfer effect, but also to extend the service life of the heater.
3. Electric induction heating
It is through electromagnetic induction, in the barrel to produce eddy current, so that the barrel heat, its main features are:
(1) short preheating and warming time, and the temperature gradient on the barrel is relatively small;
(2) Sensitive response to temperature regulation, so the temperature stability is good, can improve product quality, and also save points.
However, it also has disadvantages, mainly:
(1) For molding processing temperature is relatively high for the material, it is not suitable;
(2) If the shape of the head is complicated, then the installation will bring some difficulties.
